ISO/IEC Standard VR/AR

MPEG Immersive Video (MIV)

We co-authored the ISO/IEC 23090-12 standard. Our algorithms were selected as the best performing solution in a global competition against Intel, Nokia, and Philips.

MIV solves the 6DoF data bottleneck, enabling efficient streaming of photorealistic volumetric video over existing 5G networks.

NCBiR Project Hardware

Free viewpoint television system

A fully functional 38-camera system built at the Poznan University of Technology sports hall. The system captures basketball games and allows users to freely change their viewpoint on a mobile device in real-time.

Smart Farming AI / Neural Networks

Internet of plants

Detecting plant stress before it becomes visible. We use non-invasive sensors to measure raw signals directly from plant tissues and classify their condition (thermal, water, chemical stress) using neural networks.

Computer Vision Tracking

Passive object tracking

Our proprietary algorithms enable tracking and detection of objects in a full 360-degree sphere. This technology is actively used for recording high-speed aerobatics during competitions.

Can plants communicate? We use non-invasive signal measurement and neural networks to detect thermal, water, and chemical stress in plants (Smart Farming).

5G/6G positioning

Object positioning with CM accuracy in noisy environments (factories, urban canyons) using hybrid 5G/6G networks and inertial sensors (IMU).

Hardware security

True Random Number Generators and Physically Unclonable Functions (PUF) to create unique "prints" of devices, resistant to reverse engineering.

Passive tracking

Tracking and detection of objects in full sphere using proprietary algorithms. Used for recording aerobatics competitions and dynamic scenes.
