Distinction for Ph.D. Krzysztof Klimaszewski in the Best Ph.D. Dissertation Contest

In the Polish nationwide contest for the Best Ph.D. Dissertation of the years 2012-2013 related to the theory and the applications of the information systems for processing, analysis and interpretation of images and scenes, object recognition, modeling, generation and visualization of objects and scenes, perception and visual communication, the distinction was granted to Ph.D. Krzysztof Klimaszewski for the thesis “Compression algorithms of multi-view sequences” (supervisor: Prof. Marek Domański).

Only one award and one distinction have been granted in this contest. The contest is organized by the Association for Image Processing.
