Conferences organized by the Chair:

  • International Conference on Systems, Signal and Image Processing IWSSIP 2017
    Poznań 2017

IWSSIP is an international conference on theoretical, experimental and applied signal processing. IWSSIP brings together researchers and developers from both academia and industry to report on the latest scientific and theoretical advances, to discuss major issues and to demonstrate state-of-the-art systems. IWSSIP 2017 will follow the successful events previously held in Budapest, Manchester, Poznan, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, Prague, Chalkida, Rio de Janeiro, Sarajevo, Vienna, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, and London.

  • 112th MPEG Meeting
    Warszawa 2015

The Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) is a working group of ISO/IEC in charge of the development of international standards for compression, decompression, processing, and coded representation of moving pictures, audio and their combination

  • 10th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Video and Signal-based Surveillance AVSS 2013
    Kraków 2013

IEEE International Conference on Advanced Video and Signal-Based Surveillance (AVSS) is the premier annual international video and signal- based surveillance conference that brings together experts from academia, industry, and government to advance theories, methods, systems, and application related to surveillance.

  • 29th Picture Coding Symposium PCS 2012
    Kraków 2012

Picture Coding Symposium (PCS) is an international forum devoted specifically to advancements in visual data coding. PCS is the pioneer and has the longest history in this field. Since 1969, PCS has provided the most exciting forum for the visual coding community from academia and industry. The 30th PCS will be held in the Bay Area that has always been a key area for industry in the development of image and video coding and applications since Eadweard Muybridge’s famous experiments on the Palo Alto racetrack in 1872. In line with the pioneering tradition of PCS, path breaking, challenging exploratory contributions are very welcomed.

  • 15th European Signal Processing Conference EUSIPCO 2007
    Poznań 2007

The European Signal Processing Conference (EUSIPCO) is a series of conferences promoted by EURASIP, the European Association for Signal Processing (www.eurasip.org). EUSIPCO areas of interest will cover all aspects of signal processing theory and applications as listed below. Proposals for special sessions and tutorials are strongly encouraged. Accepted papers are published in the proceedings of EUSIPCO. There are a student paper contest for young researchers being first authors of conference contributions.

  • 73rd MPEG Meeting / 16th JVT Meeting
    Poznań 2005

  • International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems ICSES 2004
    Poznań 2004

ICSES continues a series of national and international conferences that have been organised for 26 years in Poland. These conferences have traditionally been the main forum for presenting research developments in signals theory and electronic systems taking place in major technical universities in Poland.

  • International Conference on Systems, Signal and Image Processing IWSSIP 2004
    Poznań 2004

IWSSIP'04 is an International Workshop on theoretical, experimental and applied signal and image processing techniques and systems, following the successful events previously held in Budapest, Manchester, Poznań, Zagreb, Bratislava, Maribor, Bucharest, and Prague. This workshop is organised in the year of the historic extension of the European Community and therefore is intended to be an incubator of new projects and initiatives extending even beyond Europe.
